Someone sent me a string of messages last week that went from odd to genuinely unpleasant in about four exchanges. I am fine. Blocked, screenshots kept, no harm done beyond a bad evening.
I also reported the profile through the app, because that is what you are meant to do and because if he was doing it to me he was doing it to other people. Got an automated line back thanking me for keeping the community safe. That was nine days ago.
The profile is still up. I know it is still up because I looked, which I am aware is not a healthy activity. There has been no follow up, no question about what happened, nothing that suggests a human read it.
So does reporting do anything? Genuine question, not a rant. Is there a way to report that actually gets looked at, and do you all bother? Starting to feel like the button is there to make me feel better rather than to do anything.
