Confession thread, and I will go first.

I do not read profiles. I mean, I think I do. I would have told you yesterday that I read them carefully. Then I actually watched myself doing it this morning and the truth is: photo one, photo two, first line of the bio, distance, decision. About four seconds. If the first line is a list of adjectives I am gone before I get to whatever is underneath.

Which is a problem, because I have spent the last two months carefully writing a bio that has all the good stuff at the bottom.

So be honest with me. Are you reading the whole thing? Does anyone? And if the answer is basically no, what is the point of a long bio at all, other than for the tiny number of people who stop long enough to get to the end of it?

What the playbook says about this

Everything on this board is about the app itself rather than the people in it: what a badge is actually checking, what the queue does to your morning, and why the door back in is never locked. A good share of it turns out to be about which app you picked.
