Small discovery, posting it in case anyone else has the same thing sitting in their settings unexamined.
My age range was set to a window of about six years. I set it when I made the account, probably in about four seconds, and never looked at it again. Eighteen months.
Widened it by a decent margin in both directions on Sunday, mostly out of boredom.
The feed is a completely different app now. Loads of people I had never seen. Two conversations already, one of which is with someone comfortably outside my old window and is far and away the best thing that has happened on there this year.
Which raises a slightly uncomfortable thought, which is how much of the last eighteen months of complaining about a small local pool was actually a slider I set once while half watching television.
Anyone else audited their own filters recently? What else is worth checking while I am feeling humbled about this?
