I say which side of the water I am on before I say anything else
- Looking for
- a submissive who treats the crossing as a real fact rather than a small one
- Experience
- Twelve years, three dynamics, the longest six years.
- Around
- the north shore, Sydney
The first line of every message I send says where I am. Not my suburb, my side. It is the single most useful piece of information either of us has and the app buries it under a number that is measured in a straight line, as though a straight line meant anything in a city built around a harbour.
I started doing it after the third arrangement that quietly failed on travel. Not on compatibility, not on terms, not on anything either of us had negotiated carefully over weeks. On the fact that a weeknight cost one of us two and a half hours in a car and neither of us had said so out loud.
Fifty two, the north shore, dominant, twelve years in, three dynamics, the longest of them six years and ended when she remarried, with my blessing and at my suggestion.
What I run is ongoing and unspectacular. Standing expectations. Reporting on a schedule. Correction that is a conversation rather than a performance. I am slow to start and I do not take responsibility for anybody in the first month. What I want in return is somebody who is honest in week one about what they can actually reach. If that is once a fortnight, say once a fortnight and we will build something that fits.
Not looking for anyone who says distance is nothing. Not looking for a person who wants a title before we have met. Not looking to be impressive on a screen, since I am not.
