Five installs in three years, and every deletion was in January

Looking for
a reason to still be here in the new year
Experience
Three years, on and off, two short dynamics.
Around
the west, Sydney

I have deleted this app five times and reinstalled it five times, and I only recently noticed that four of those deletions happened in the same six weeks of the year. The summer break empties the board, I read the emptiness as a verdict on me, I delete the account in a temper, and in March I am back and starting from nothing.

Starting from nothing is the part people underestimate. Deleting the account does not just remove your profile. It removes every conversation you were slowly building, including the two that were about to become something, and there is no way to tell those people what happened. They simply see a name go grey.

Thirty three, out west, submissive, three years of this and nothing longer than five months to show for it. The kink part is straightforward. The app part has been the problem.

So the change this time is behavioural rather than technical. I check it twice a day. I do not read a quiet week as a message. And if I go, I will tell whoever I am speaking to first, which costs me nothing and would have saved two decent people some confusion.

What I want is a dominant who is steady over months. Small daily rules. Someone who follows up. Not looking for intensity that burns out. Not looking to prove I am serious by being permanently available. Not looking for anybody who disappears without a word, because I have been that person and I know exactly what it does.
