Set the radius to five miles in this city and you have not set a radius, you have chosen a borough. Everything inside it is a twenty minute problem and everything outside it is an evening. That is why almost every post here opens by saying where the writer is, and why the ones that do not get asked in the first reply.
Thirty six, Queens, dominant, seven years in. One of my two dynamics ended over precisely this. She was in the south of Brooklyn, I am where I am, and for eight months we managed it, and then winter came and the trip stopped being romantic. Neither of us said the real reason out loud at the time. I am saying it now because pretending otherwise wastes months.
So I am looking on my own side, or for somebody who has done the journey enough times to know what they are agreeing to.
What I want is a submissive who likes routine. A fixed evening. Standing expectations between times. Someone who reports honestly, including the parts that went badly, especially those. I am attentive when I am there and I do not vanish for a fortnight.
Not looking for a person who will agree the distance is fine and then quietly resent it in November. Not looking for anything that has to be spontaneous. Not looking to meet halfway in a place neither of us wants to be.
