I am deaf. Somewhere in the last two years this app filled up with voice notes, and about a third of the messages I now receive are useless to me. People send thirty seconds of audio, get nothing back, and conclude I am rude.
So: text, always, and I will say so in the first line rather than let it become a small mystery. If we get to a call it is video with captions, and if we get to a room it is fine, because I lipread well and I am unembarrassed about asking somebody to repeat themselves. None of this is fragile. It is admin.

What I want is a submissive who writes well and likes writing. That is a real filter rather than a nice extra: most of how I run a dynamic is language, instructions given precisely, reports read carefully, corrections that are specific rather than loud. If writing is a chore to you, I am the wrong person and you will feel it by week three.
Not looking for anyone who treats my hearing as the interesting thing about me. Not looking to be somebody's education in access. Not looking for a person who sends a paragraph of audio anyway, which has now happened enough times that I am putting it in the post.
