We split up, we kept the same friends, and now we share a queue

Looking for
somebody unbothered by a small city and a civilised ending
Experience
Seven years, two arrangements, the second one four years.
Around
the west end, Glasgow

We ended four years of it last summer, properly, in a conversation, and we still have the same friends and now apparently the same queue. Her profile comes up every few weeks. Mine presumably comes up for her. There is no setting for this and there is no need for one, because we are both adults, and it is still an odd thing to be shown on a Tuesday night.

Thirty nine, the west end, switch, seven years in.

What I have taken from it is that in a city this size there is no clean separation between your past and your options, and the useful skill is not avoidance but being the sort of person whose exes can see them in a stack without wincing. I would like to think I am. She would probably agree, which is the only endorsement worth anything here.

What I want now is one ongoing arrangement, going both ways in time, built slowly. A fixed evening. Terms agreed properly rather than assumed.

Not looking for anybody who wants to hear about her. Not looking to be a comparison. Not looking for a person who thinks a fresh start is a thing that exists in a pool this small.

What to have sorted before you reply

Which direction is on the table this month is not in the post, and asking flat out reads badly. That takes a conversation, and a conversation needs a room you can walk out of.
