Half the words on this app I have had to look up, and looking them up mostly produced more words. It took me five weeks to work out that a match is not a message. I have accidentally hidden my own profile twice and sent the same thing to somebody three times because I could not tell whether it had gone.
Fifty one, out towards Lanarkshire, widowed four years, and I know what I want in the way you know a word you cannot spell. I have never done any of it and I am not going to pretend otherwise, because it would fall apart in ten minutes.
What I am asking for is patience and a fair amount of explaining, about the practical parts as much as the rest. Somebody content to go slowly, who says what they are doing and why, and who is not disappointed that I arrive with nothing but intent.
I am not fragile. I raised two children on my own and ran a household through some genuinely hard years.
Not looking for anybody who finds my age remarkable and mentions it. Not looking to be hurried. Not looking for a person who is bored of explaining, which is fair enough, but say so early.
