Two years, every Wednesday afternoon, and it never grew and never needed to

Looking for
one afternoon a week with somebody who wants exactly that
Experience
Eleven years, two arrangements, the last one two years.
Around
the east, Amsterdam

For two years I saw one person every Wednesday afternoon. Same day, same hours, nothing in between except a short message on Monday to confirm. It never became a relationship, it never expanded, neither of us ever asked it to, and it ended last winter when she moved for work in a conversation that took ten minutes and left nothing unsaid.

I say all that because everything on this app is built around escalation. The whole interface assumes that anything working should be getting bigger. There is no way to advertise for something that is deliberately fixed in size, and when you describe it people hear either a lack of interest or a hidden condition.

Forty five, the east, switch, eleven years in, and I have wasted two of them trying to describe a small arrangement to people who kept hearing a first step.

So: I am looking for one afternoon a week, indefinitely, with somebody who genuinely wants that shape rather than tolerating it while hoping. It goes both ways over time. It is planned, not improvised. It has a proper agreement behind it and a review every few months.

Not looking for anything that grows. Not looking for somebody who is between relationships and will want more by autumn, which has happened twice. And not looking to explain again that a small arrangement can be a serious one.

What to have sorted before you reply

Which direction is on the table this month is not in the post, and asking flat out reads badly. That takes a conversation, and a conversation needs a room you can walk out of.
