The profile box cuts off at a few hundred characters and my terms do not fit in it. That is not a complaint about the design. A profile is an advertisement and advertisements are short. But it means that everything actually load bearing about how I run a dynamic has to be discovered by a person after they have already decided to write to me, which is exactly backwards.
So the short version lives there and the real version lives on boards like this one. What I run is written down: what is expected daily, what is reported weekly, how correction happens, what happens if either of us wants to stop, and what I will never do regardless of how anybody feels in the moment.
Fifty two, the west, dominant, seventeen years in. Three dynamics, all of them on paper, all of them reviewed every few months, none of them ended in confusion.
People find the paperwork unromantic, and it is. It is also the reason none of my endings have been ugly, and I have watched enough friends' arrangements collapse out of pure ambiguity to be evangelical about it.
Not looking for anybody who wants to work it out as we go. Not looking for a person who agrees to terms to be agreeable. Not looking to negotiate anything in the moment.
