Small town. About twenty thousand people. I have been on here for a year and had convinced myself that everyone local was either already seen or not on it.
Last night, third card in, my sister’s best friend. Photo I have seen on her actual social accounts. Not ambiguous, not a lookalike.
I swiped past immediately and then sat there feeling like I had walked in on something, which is ridiculous, because we are both adults who are both on the same app for the same reasons.
What I cannot decide is what happens next. Do I block so it cannot come round again? Do I say something if it ever comes up? Or do I do the British thing and take it to the grave?
