I have done the verification twice. The little tick is on my profile. I have still been asked, in the first message, to send a photograph holding up a piece of paper with the date on it, and when I offered a short video call instead the person stopped replying.
Thirty six, Queens, submissive, four years in. I understand why the asking happens. There are people on here who are not who they say, and women in particular get burned by it, and I would rather be asked than have somebody take a risk on me blindly.
What I object to is the direction it runs. The demand goes one way. In four years I have been asked to prove myself perhaps twenty times and I have been offered proof unprompted exactly twice. Both of those people I met. Both of those turned into something, one of them for a year.
So my terms are simple and they are symmetrical. A short video call, both cameras on, five minutes, before anything else. I will go first if that makes it easier. After that I am happy to meet somewhere public in daylight and be as boring as you like about it.
What I want beyond that is a structured dynamic with somebody attentive, ongoing rather than occasional. Not looking for anyone who thinks caution is an insult. Not looking to send photographs on demand. And not looking for somebody who has an entire album of proof and no answer to a single question about themselves.
