I only exist on here between seven and eight in the morning

Looking for
somebody who answers in the same hour I do
Experience
Four years, two dynamics, both of them ended by distance.
Around
the Bronx, New York

My entire presence on this app happens on a train between seven and eight in the morning. That is the only hour of my day that belongs to nobody, and by the evening I have two children fed, homework supervised and about forty minutes of consciousness left, none of which I am spending on a stack.

Thirty nine, the Bronx, four years in. So my rhythm is unusual and it is not going to change. I answer in the morning, thoroughly, in one go, and then I am gone until the next one. People read that as a lack of interest because everybody else here trickles. I do not trickle. I write you a proper paragraph once a day.

I am a switch and I would like an ongoing arrangement in either direction with somebody whose life has similar shape. Other parents, shift workers, anyone whose week is largely spoken for. What I want is small and daily: expectations that survive a bad evening, a check in that fits in a pocket of time, and a person who does not need me to be spontaneous.

I have my children half the time and on those weeks I am unavailable in the evenings, full stop, and no amount of goodwill changes it.

Not looking for anything that requires me to be free at short notice. Not looking to meet anybody's family or to have anybody meet mine for a very long time. Not looking for a person who reads a twelve hour gap as a message.

What to have sorted before you reply

Which direction is on the table this month is not in the post, and asking flat out reads badly. That takes a conversation, and a conversation needs a room you can walk out of.
