The little green dot goes on at four in the morning, and that is me

Looking for
a dominant who reads a slow reply as a shift pattern, not a snub
Experience
Two years, one dynamic of nine months, ended over scheduling.
Around
Brooklyn, New York

The app shows when you were last online and mine says four in the morning, most mornings, which people read as either a liar or a mess. It is neither. I finish at three, I eat something, and the only quiet hour I get is the one when the rest of the city is asleep.

Thirty, Brooklyn, submissive, two years in. My one real dynamic lasted nine months and ended entirely on scheduling. She was not unkind about it. She simply wanted somebody at eight in the evening and I was at work at eight in the evening, every evening, and neither of us worked out how to bend around that.

So I am after something steady rather than frequent. Once a week reliably beats three times in one week and then a month of nothing. Rules that survive a bad rota. Things I do daily, things I report on, a check in that happens by message when being in the same room is impossible.

The one thing I would ask is that you do not treat a two day gap as a verdict. It means I slept. It has been misread three times, once by somebody I liked a great deal, and I only found out because a friend of hers told me months later.

Not looking for anyone who needs a reply within the hour. Not looking for anything that has to happen on a Friday night. Not looking to be told my hours are a phase.
