Sunday afternoons, in daylight, and I am not going to bend on it
- Looking for
- a dominant who finds one fixed reliable window enough to build on
- Experience
- Nine years, one dynamic that ran four of them.
- Around
- the Valley, Los Angeles
Every first meeting I do is a Sunday afternoon, in the light, with the roads empty. That is not a preference dressed up as a rule. It is the only time this city lets me travel an hour without arriving furious, and it is the only time somebody can see my face properly and I can see theirs. Two people have told me that a daytime meeting is not serious enough. They were wrong, and they were also both at least a year younger than the version of themselves that would have understood why.
Forty six, the Valley, submissive, nine years in. One dynamic that ran four years and ended when she took work overseas.
After the first two meetings I am flexible about almost everything else. Evenings are fine once I know somebody. The rule is a filter for the beginning, not a description of my life.
What I want is a real ongoing arrangement with structure I can feel on a Wednesday. Standing expectations. Correction that is spoken. Somebody who will tell me the truth about how I am doing without being asked.
Not looking for anyone who reads a boundary as a challenge. Not looking to be somebody's late night impulse. And not looking for a long correspondence with a person who cannot find two hours on a Sunday in the next month, because that is the actual answer and I would rather have it early.
