A message from here came up on my car screen, with a passenger

Posted as came_up_on_the_screen, 19 August 2026

Looking for
somebody who will not think my notification settings are about them
Experience
Four years, two dynamics, both quiet and both fine.
Around
the Valley, Los Angeles

My phone connects to the car and the car puts everything on a screen the size of a dinner plate, at eye level, for whoever is sitting next to me. In February a message from this app arrived in front of my sister. Nothing terrible followed. I told her a version of the truth and she was decent about it, and I have spent every month since rebuilding how this lives on my devices.

Thirty seven, the Valley, submissive, four years in, two arrangements behind me and neither of them known to a single person in my life.

Practically that means no previews, no sound, nothing on a lock screen, and I check twice a day at times I choose. It is not secrecy for the fun of it. I share a car and a house and a great deal of my week with people I am not going to explain this to, and I would rather build the system than rely on luck twice.

What I want is a dominant who plans in advance rather than in bursts, because bursts and my life do not fit. Standing rules. A weekly evening arranged a week ahead. Contact that is scheduled rather than constant.

Not looking for anybody who needs an immediate answer to know I am interested. Not looking for anybody who will send anything at all before we have agreed how I want to receive it. And not looking to be told I am overcautious by somebody who lives alone.
