Sixty eight, and this is now the only place I meet anybody at all
- Looking for
- a submissive who is not looking for a younger version of me
- Experience
- Thirty years, four long arrangements, the last of them eleven years.
- Around
- the South Bay, Los Angeles
Everything I used to rely on for meeting people is gone. Not closed, exactly. Changed, dispersed, and moved onto a phone while I was busy with a long arrangement that did not need any of it. When that ended two years ago I came up for air and found that a whole way of finding people had been replaced by this, and that I was going to have to learn it or be alone.
Sixty eight, the South Bay, dominant, thirty years in this, four long arrangements with the last running eleven years and ending when she died.
I have learned it, more or less. I write properly, I do not send photographs, and I have made peace with being outside most people's filters, which is why I am posting rather than swiping. What I run has not changed in decades: clear expectations, a great deal of talking, a standing weekly arrangement, and a formality that some people find old fashioned and that a certain sort of person recognises immediately.
I am in good health, I have time, and I am not lonely, which I mention because people assume a man my age writing this must be.
Not looking for anybody with a theory about my age. Not looking for a project or to be one. And not looking for anything that has to be explained to me in the vocabulary of the last five years, though I am perfectly willing to learn it if you are patient.
