If I am not what you want, say so. Silence teaches me nothing
- Looking for
- an answer of either kind from somebody experienced
- Experience
- None. Seven months, eleven conversations, no endings and no beginnings.
- Around
- the Westside, Los Angeles
Eleven conversations since January and not one of them has ended. They have all simply stopped, at different speeds, and because none of them ended I have no idea what happened in any of them. Was it something I said about not having done this before? Was it the photograph? Was it that I asked too many questions, or not enough? I have eleven data points and they are all blank, and I have been left to invent my own reasons, which are worse than the real ones would have been.
Thirty six, the Westside, no experience, seven months of this.
So the request in this post is unusual and it is genuine: if you read what I have written and I am not what you are looking for, tell me in one line. I will not argue, I will not ask you to reconsider, and I will be grateful, because one honest sentence would teach me more than the last seven months have.
What I want, as far as I understand it, is structure and somebody to be accountable to. I would like to start slowly and I would like to be told when I get things wrong.
Not looking for a mentor with terms attached. Not looking to be flattered. And not looking for another conversation that goes quiet in week three.
