I have the badge. I did the pose, I waited the day, it is on my profile where anybody can see it. I am still asked, most months, in a first message, to send a photograph of myself holding a piece of paper with the date written on it. When I offer a short video call instead, about half of them stop replying.
Thirty seven, the west end, submissive, six years in. I want to be fair here. There are accounts on this app that are not people, the ones who get hurt by that are overwhelmingly not men, and being asked costs me nothing. I have never once refused a reasonable check.
What I object to is that it only runs one way. In six years I have been asked to prove myself dozens of times and had proof offered to me unprompted twice. Both of those went somewhere and one lasted three years.
So my terms are symmetrical and boring. Five minutes on camera, both of us, before anything else. I will go first. After that, a coffee somewhere public in daylight and as much dull conversation as you like.
Not looking for anybody who takes a check as an insult. Not looking to send photographs on demand. Not looking for a person whose whole profile is proof and who cannot answer one question about their own week.
