I installed this in March and did not open it again until July
- Looking for
- conversation with somebody who will not be in a hurry
- Experience
- None. Four months of an unopened app and a lot of thinking.
- Around
- the west end, Glasgow
I downloaded this in March, filled in about half a profile, and then did not open it again until three weeks ago. Four months of it sitting on a screen where I saw it every day. That is a more accurate description of where I am than anything I could write about what I want.
Thirty, the west end, completely new. What brought me here was noticing the same thing in myself repeatedly over several years and finally admitting that reading about it privately was not going to settle anything. What has kept me here since July is that the posts on this board are far more ordinary than I expected.
What I want is conversation. Questions answered honestly by somebody who has done this rather than written about it. People describe Tuesdays on here. People complain about parking. Possibly, eventually, a coffee in daylight that is explicitly not the start of anything.
I am not ready to agree to anything at all, and I would rather say that plainly now than discover it halfway through a conversation with somebody who assumed otherwise. Not looking for anybody who wants to tell me what I am after four messages. Not looking to be somebody's first project. Not looking for a person who reads inexperience as an opportunity.
