The way people arrange things here suits me until it does not. Terms are exchanged, questions are answered, both sides agree, and the whole thing has the pleasant rhythm of sorting out a flat share. Twice I have found myself two weeks into something I had consented to properly, in writing, and did not actually want, because agreeing was so easy and so quick that I never noticed I had not stopped to think.
Thirty three, Friedrichshain, submissive, four years in, two short arrangements and a lot of reflection since.
That is my failing rather than anybody else's. Nobody pushed me. The efficiency is the point of the culture here and I like it. I simply need a bit of friction that I am not able to provide myself.
So what I am asking for is somebody who will notice a fast yes and check it. Ask me again a week later. Make me say why.
What I want is an ongoing structure: authority over ordinary decisions, a weekly evening, reporting through the week.
Not looking for anybody who takes agreement at face value. Not looking to be negotiated with efficiently. And not looking for a person who finds hesitation irritating.
