We came here for her job five years ago and everything I had in this city came through her: the flat, the friends, the arrangement we had between us, which had been the best part of our relationship for years. Last spring she went home and I did not. So I am rebuilding all of it at once, in a city I chose for somebody else, and this app is where a surprising amount of that is happening.

I am not in pieces about it. It ended reasonably and I would say the same to her face. But I am aware that everything I know about being a submissive was learned inside one long relationship, which means I have a great deal of experience and almost no range.
What I want is a structured ongoing arrangement with somebody patient about that. Standing expectations, a weekly evening, real contact between times.
Not looking to be a rebound in either direction. Not looking for anybody who wants to hear the whole story in week one. And not looking for something casual, because I have never done this casually and I do not think I would be any good at it.
