One picture decides what I am, and it is wrong half the time
- Looking for
- somebody who reads past the first screen before deciding what I am for
- Experience
- Six years, three short dynamics, all of them started by me explaining.
- Around
- the east side, Los Angeles
This place is built so that a photograph arrives about four seconds before any words do, and whatever people decide in those four seconds is almost impossible to move afterwards. I am tall, I have a certain face, and I have spent six years being written to as though the answer is already settled. Half of what I want is the other half, and by the time anybody reads the sentence that says so they have already composed a message that assumes otherwise.
Thirty three, the east side, switch, six years in, three dynamics that all began with me correcting an assumption.
I am not complaining about being wanted. I am pointing out a design problem that this board is the only cure for, which is why I am writing here instead of adding a fourth line to a profile nobody finishes.
So, plainly: I want to lead sometimes and I want to be led sometimes, both properly, with structure either way. What I am hoping for is one person who can genuinely do both, or two arrangements that know about each other.
Not looking for somebody who agrees to go the other way once as a favour and then never mentions it again, which is the specific way all three of mine ended. Not looking for anybody who needs me to be the same thing every week. And not looking for a conversation that is entirely about my appearance.
