Somebody built a whole profile out of my photographs
- Looking for
- a submissive who will do the checking rather than assume
- Experience
- Thirteen years, three dynamics, one of them nine years.
- Around
- the South Bay, Los Angeles
A woman wrote to me last autumn to ask, very politely, whether I had been talking to her for six weeks. I had not. Somebody had taken four of my photographs, most of my written profile and a rearranged version of my history, and had been running it as themselves in another city for months. She had noticed because two sentences did not sound like the person she had been speaking to.
Fifty four, the South Bay, dominant, thirteen years in, three arrangements with the longest at nine years.
I got the copy taken down, eventually, and I learned two things. The first is that anybody can be anybody here and no amount of experience makes you immune to being used as somebody else's costume. The second is that the only real defence is the boring one: a short live call early, from both people, before anything gets emotionally expensive.
So I offer that first and I do not wait to be asked, and if you would rather not, I understand and we simply stop there without any hard feelings.
What I run is a long structured arrangement with written expectations, a weekly evening and real contact in between. Not looking for anybody who wants months of messages before a face. Not looking for a person who thinks asking for a call is rude. And if you have been talking to a version of me somewhere else, I am sorry, and it was not me.
