My questions are all logistics and nobody wants to answer those
- Looking for
- somebody willing to answer dull questions before interesting ones
- Experience
- None. Seven months on here and a list of unanswered practical questions.
- Around
- the south east, London
Where does this happen when neither person can host. How do people manage it around a job with irregular hours. What do you actually say to somebody at the end, if it is not working. How long is it normal to talk before meeting. Those are my four questions and I have asked versions of them perhaps a dozen times, and almost nobody answers them, because they are not the questions people come here to be asked.
Thirty eight, the south east, no experience of any of this, seven months of trying to find out.
I am aware this makes me sound like somebody planning a project rather than a person with a want. The want is there. It is just that I have spent my whole working life in a job where I sort out how things will actually be done, and I cannot make myself approach this any other way.
What I think I am after is a continuing arrangement with clear expectations and somebody who checks on them. Nothing exotic.
Not looking to be told not to overthink it. Not looking for anybody who finds the practical questions unromantic, because I am going to keep asking them. And not looking to start something before I understand how it would actually run.
