Nobody puts this in a profile so I will put it in a post. The thing I run consists largely of a shared list, a fixed evening, a message at the same time each morning, a small number of standing obligations, and a slightly dull conversation every six weeks about whether any of it needs changing. There are perhaps two hours a month that would look like anything at all to an outsider. The rest is maintenance.
Forty nine, north of the river, dominant, twelve years in, three arrangements with the longest at seven years.
I say it because the app sells the opposite. Every profile I read implies something continuously intense, and people arrive expecting that, and then find the real version underwhelming somewhere around week five. The people for whom this works are the ones who read the paragraph above and feel something settle.
What I offer is exactly that, ongoing, with real authority in it and real attention paid. I am consistent to the point of being predictable and I regard that as the entire point.
Not looking for anybody who wants to be swept away. Not looking for somebody whose interest depends on novelty, because there will not be much. And not looking for a person who describes what they want purely in terms of activities, since none of the activities are what makes this work.
