Your profile is a list of tags and I cannot do anything with it. Eleven words, all of them nouns, none of them yours. I read forty of these last night and I could not have picked one of you out of a room afterwards.
Forty one, dominant, out in the 905, and the reason this post runs long is that I am trying to demonstrate the thing I am asking for.
Here is what I would rather know. What time do you get up when nobody is making you. What is the thing you keep meaning to do and never do. Who decides what you eat. What did the last person with any authority over you get wrong. None of that appears on a tag list and all of it is what I actually work with.
Fourteen years in. Two long dynamics, one of seven years, and a five year gap in the middle when my children were small and the answer had to be no.
What I run is household in style. Real tasks, real standards, inspection that means something. If you want to be given something to be responsible for, we will get on. If you want an evening with an itinerary, we will not.
I am half an hour out and happy to drive, but I would ask for one weekend day a fortnight rather than three weeknights, because that drive at six is a punishment neither of us agreed to.
