I wrote my profile twice, once in each language, and the two halves attract noticeably different people. In English I get short openers and a lot of questions about what I do to somebody. In Spanish I get longer messages, more about family and work, and considerably more people asking what I am like to know. Same profile, same woman, same photographs. I find it fascinating and slightly depressing.

I answer in whichever language you open in, and I do not care which you choose. What I care about is that you say something specific. I am direct, I decide things, and I say what I expect rather than leaving it to be guessed at. That is the whole of my style and it does not translate into anything more exciting than it sounds.
