Posting in July, because the people still on here in July mean it

Looking for
a standing arrangement with somebody in roughly my decade
Experience
Six years since my marriage ended, two dynamics, the second one three years.
Around
the east end, Toronto

Everybody comes back to this app in November. The queue visibly doubles when it turns cold, everyone on it is suddenly warm and talkative, and by the middle of March they have gone again. I am posting in July because the people still here in July mean it.

Fifty two, submissive, east end, and I have watched the cycle through four winters now. It is reliable enough to put a date on. First hard freeze, full inbox. Holidays, silence. New year, a flood of people who have decided to change their lives. February, the same people explaining that they are not in a good place.

Long marriage, ended six years ago, and all of this came out of me afterwards in a way that surprised nobody more than me. Two dynamics since. The second ran three years and finished well, which I mention because people assume every ending on a board like this was a catastrophe.

What I am after is a standing arrangement with somebody in roughly my decade. Structure, service, a set evening, correction that is spoken rather than delivered. My knees have opinions now and I have stopped arguing with them.

If you are reading this in the middle of summer with not much on, you are precisely who I am hoping to hear from. If you find it in January, do write, but tell me honestly whether you would have written in July.
