I need to know the shape of it before I want it
- Looking for
- somebody who will discuss the practical version before the appealing one
- Experience
- Six months on the app, one long conversation, no meeting yet.
- Around
- the west of the city, Berlin
Most posts here describe what somebody wants and almost none describe what a week actually looks like, and for me that is the only information that matters. I have a condition that decides how much I get to do, generously on some days and not at all on others, and until I know the practical shape of an arrangement I honestly cannot tell whether I want it.
Thirty eight, the west of the city, curious, six months on here and nothing agreed.
So my questions are dull ones. How often. How long. What happens when I cancel at four in the afternoon, which I will, perhaps twice a month, with no warning and no way of making it up afterwards. Is contact through the week real contact or a formality. People find this an odd way to open and I have stopped softening it, because the alternative is discovering the answers when it is already awkward for both of us.
What draws me is being useful inside limits somebody else sets. That is as far as my certainty goes.
Not looking for anybody who will be understanding in the abstract and quietly irritated in practice, a distinction I can now spot inside a fortnight. Not looking to be handled carefully. And not looking for a person who wants to hear about the medical side, because it is boring and it is not the interesting thing about me.
